Chaotic work environment with little chance to make positive changes
CM (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 6 March 2013
Hardworking teams made it easy to cope day-to-day tasks; more work gets thrown down the line and expects to be done with unrealistic timelines. Working 60+ hour days is expected while getting promised of timeoff which never comes. Company overloads teams with work so while compensation is decent, it doesn't make up for the overtime.
Decent room for growth mostly in roles that are more Junior/entry level. Evident as you see the organization grow bigger.
Weak upper management that bullies people into working more and manipulates to getting what they want. While they advocate for change, little is done about making positive changes a reality.
The culture could be better if not for the terrible space restrictions on the floor. Clear separation of different entities makes working with teams a nightmare and causes ridiculous power struggles.
compensation, sense of camaraderie, learning
overtime, work-life-balance, management, lack of culture
