I worked 20 years for freightliner we were bought three times I transferred from Amarillo to Fort Worth this dealership was the worst I have ever seen they weren’t honest with there people or the people who trucks they worked on, I had never seen that before if they sold you the part they were dam sure they were going to put in on there truck even if you didn’t need it there was no honor in what they did and they screwed there people all the time out of the time
Warranty Administrator (Former Employee) – Oklahoma City, OK – 23 October 2017
this company will not stand up for the lower employees, you must CYA everything. if you don't you will be fired for the smallest things that happen, example you say something and then next thing that happens is it is misconstrued to another,
I really enjoyed working at Premier, very fast pace job and everyone worked great together. I learned alot from Premier and everyone who works there. Hardest part, was being laid off due to closing of 24hr hubs, I really wanted to climb up the ladder with Premier.
This is the most two faced company I've ever worked for. Management is back stabbing as you'll ever come across. They say it's a family environment but if something comes up with family they turn their back on you. They have huge double standards. Management shows favoritism especially to female employees. They expect you to work on out of date faulty forklifts. Often had to work through lunch hour. Horrible insurance. All this for minimal pay. I would think long and hard before signing up for this place.
Accounts Receivable Account Administrator (Current Employee) – Oklahoma City, OK – 26 April 2017
Another typical corporate environment. Does not really care about the employees and does not seem to want to promote from within. Would have liked to have stayed but was given no choice but to find work elsewhere.
Warranty Administrator (Former Employee) – Oklahoma City, OK – 14 December 2016
I enjoyed working at Premier Truck Group. They are a fast paced company. They really try to take care of their employees. Their benefits are great. The hardest part is learning everything in a timely manner.
Mechanic (Former Employee) – Amarillo, TX – 20 June 2016
This shop needs to pay their mechanics hourly since they dont have enough bussines all year round. Shop is to slow to make any decent living. 500 dollars a week is not enough to support a family and have a good life. If your a mechanic with about a year seniority your screwed, you are not gonna make any money. Sucks working nights for a year and than they hire new techs straight to days or transfer new mechanics to the main shop from the maintanance shop straight days as well. Other than that they have a good training program and other techs would help and they have good attitude. Hopefully this review would help other mechanics and hopefully manegemant open their eyes to see what's going on before they lose all the accounts and mechanics and than everybody would be without a job
Good training program
To slow to make any money since its a comission shop
I would recommend Premier as a great place to work.
WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST / SALES / DRIVER (Current Employee) – Oklahoma City, OK – 7 June 2016
My bosses are the best I have ever work for. I was employed at the Elk City Store, but due to the oilfield bust, the big dogs shut us down. I was offered a position in OKC. However, because of my husbands job, I could not relocate. Therefore, the only position left to take was delivery driver. I drive to OKC office and pick up parts and delivery them to our customers out here. Easy, very little stress. Although I am being paid well for what I am doing. It is a waist of my skills and I need to earn more money.
Fast paced enviroment, fun time to be there everday
Shop Supervisor (Former Employee) – Fort Worth, TX – 6 April 2016
this company and all staff treat you as their own family, I regret ever leaving this company. I loved it there, and everyday was a different challenge. this is a great company to work for if you have the opportunity to do so.
