Good enough company to work for
90% off the time its a good time. Work isn't bad, usually pretty good guys to work with. Lots of advancement oppertunities. You get out of it what you put in.

No inclusiveness
Work culture is not diversed. There’s no travel pay to and from site. You will learn new things at work most times but there wasn’t any sense of belonging.

High demand to deliver from senior executives.
Management is not focus on employees. Very high turnover. The focus is on new technology therefore it’s a good place to be innovative. No diversity or inclusion with in management.

Great pay at a high price.
I feel like most people know what they are getting into when applying for a job on a drilling rig. Great pay, horrible lifestyle. After a decade of "givin 'er", the juice was no longer worth the squeeze for this rig hand. The workplace culture is archaic. I'm embarrassed to have witnessed some of the ignorance towards employees I did in my time working for this compay. Not just form management, but from employee to eployee. It was the most toxic environment I've ever witnessed (I'm not being hypebolic). To be fair, this isn't exclusive to PD. This is a problem with the drilling industry itself. If you're the type of person who values self respect and respect for your fellow human, don't bother starting a career for a drilling contractor. If you value money over these things and also love to"getter done" (no judgement) then this might be the job for you.Fair warning; I think I may have only met a handful of people that were happy with their decision to go to work on a drilling rig.But you can make some good money!BiG OiL!!!
