Great company to work for and an even greater team to be a part of! They have great policies and training in place to ensure that their staff makes it through the day without incident and home safe at the end of the day.
I saw a short guy with mustache who uncontrolled his bad temper to yell a colleague in Markham warehouse. After that he walked out for smoking and speaking his language on the phone. Unfortunately, their warehouse supervisor or manager who has no stopped to prevent him.
Satellite Coordinator (Former Employee) - London, ON - 13 April 2020
London location was a good place to work but mgt in Bramalea was out of touch on what really happened on a day to day basis in the satellite stores. No visit from mgt unless the had to go because they were told by the bosses
The staff at praxair are very approachable when you have a question they will try their best to answer it.its also a great work environment.
And they really strive to make you feel like youre one of the team.
This is a fast paced environment where u have to train yourself on over 90% of the job. Management and decisions are made out of Edmonton or the USA which leads to no support or idea how individual locations and branches are ran. There are no job descriptions or training manuals on any position in this company. The culture is not ideal and is not relevant to innovation or the current market. Overall just disorganized and unsatisfactory as an employer.
The hardest parts of the job:
No work/life balance (too much overtime)
Some clients can be living in harsh conditions
Best parts of the job:
Ususally work unsupervised
Good co-worker relations
Excellent money (when working overtime)
