Work in my department generally happened at a slower pace than I'm normally used to, which allowed me to take on multiple tasks and learn a lot between my primary tasks. However, this also meant that feedback from upper management came slowly, and at some times became a bottleneck.
Additionally since it is a big organization, each individual ends up focusing on a very small aspect of the product, which might limit career advancement opportunities. A rotation program would be beneficial.
