The suoervisor didnt respect people whatever worker they achieved. They don't care about what youve done and they think people like a machine that never tried. It is not a good place to work until you got retire you always feel stress because of the supervisor. I recommend people not to apply in this company.
Pliteq is very laid back when it comes to work load the work is very easy and you can learn quickly if you’re willing. However the management is non existent, the company is still new and in a constant state of change and cluelessness. For the most part the supervisors are great but the overall management of the company is terrible, if you’re looking to make a quick buck this is the place for you but don’t try to start a career here because you will just be promised things that will never happen and end up being over qualified and underpaid. Also if they hire you as a forklift operator you will most likely be a gerneral labourer they use that incentive to get more people in the door but there are hardly any full time forklift operators.
You can't ask for a better place to work. Great employees and a great boss at the same time! I enjoy the fact that we are not pushed for production - and when given that, you tend to actually get more work done.
Great working atmosphere
none that i can think of at the moment
CEO/owner is never in the factory and has no clue how to run a company. Some Supervisor sit in office all day and never give a hand on the floor and talk down to employees. Wrong people get promoted. Only good thing is you have straight shifts and you don’t have to rotate between days, afternoons and nights. They fire employees for no reason just to save a few dollars before the 3 months dead line. Turn over is very high. I would not recommend working here.
Low pay, no job security, management does not care, sends you home after 3 hrs for no work, cancels shifts if no work

Is Indeed your favorite place to learn about companies?
Great internship; I learned a lot relating to my engineering degree. A little boring at times but definitely worked with some great people. Really enjoyed being part of the R&D team! It was nice to be faced with real engineering challenges that didn't come with a set solution.
Sometimes a bit mundane
New company, Poor management, Disorganized supervision, Needs to go thorough a huge learning curve, Lots of Job Hazard
Good place to learn technical details of manufacturing operation. But management is very disorganized. Requires significant improvement. The company is trying to implement CMMS, SAP systems in place. Till it gets settled the production runs in a manual way from inventory, planning perspective. Few work hazards (PU, Fiberglass dust etc.) and policies are in place. but management has no supervision at all whether things are being followed. Workers dont follow the safety regulation and management has a very flexible way of dealing with that. Safety should be the top most priority at places like that but its only in pen and paper. Only time management gets serious when Ministry of Labour/ H&S committee visits the place. Poor management style and no employee benefits. Long working hours without any aid from company. No performance appraisal system to recognize the efficient employees. VP operation seems to be the only person with technical knowledge. Working with him is learning and rewarding as you know what you are doing and why. Operations manager is a nice guy but tied up with million things. Don't plan well for the job. No systems in place at all. The notice period is very unusual (2 Months). But a great work place to gather hands on experience.
Good place for hands on experience
Long hours, no benefits, poor work culture, disorganized management, workplace hazard, poor supervision
