Great flexibility
Plan A is a wonderful agency to work for, the management is very kind and they help motivate and encourage their staff to have a better day. Being able to pick up shifts and build your own schedule is great, especially when you are a student. It is great to have the flexibility to schedule your shifts on your own availability. They have work at a variety of different long-term care and retirement homes which is great.

Good pay! A fun place to work.
The pay is good, and you can work around your own personal schedule by picking up shifts. If you want a full time position this may not be for you. Hours are not always guaranteed.

Do not apply
Zero guarantee of shifts. You’ll receive 1 training shift and be expexted to enter any ltc homes with very little support and help. A lot of upfront cost that is NOT covered by the company (10 hrs of in office training, bi annual police check, cpr)No pension plan, zero job security. Very limited shifts available. Training shifts are paid at a reduced wage.

Not a good company to work for
If you’re looking for casual hours some extra money this is the job for you. Honestly my experience working for this company was not a good one. They do have their favourites employees, And their favourite employees do you get the first pick of shifts. And something they don’t tell you about is at any given time if the company you’re filling in for feels like they do not want to use an agency employee or they fill it internally the shift is automatically taken off. The company does not stick up for the employee very one-sided. But like I said if you really want to make some good money and pick up a few shifts here and there this is the company for you

Flexible workplace that encourages success!
A truly wonderful company to work for! Contact with management is simple and they are so reliable and always looking to help you get the most out of your employment. This job allows you to work in many facilities if that’s something that appeals to you, or, they help you find shifts at one or two homes that you’re comfortable in. Plan A fosters an inclusive and supportive environment that makes you feel supported through all of the new opportunities they grant.
