Have a friendly environment and always communicate to everyone
Don’t make your workers come in the next day if they’re really sick the day before, they won’t get better the next day. Be inclusive, fair and don’t look over their shoulder every five seconds. Don’t let your anger out on your workers as they’re only doing their best.
Actually look into their locations and see if the places have diversity
Changing the company policy
Add more staff and built a bit more vast space for customers
Stop pushing people too far
Lower expectations from teenage/university student employees
Allow for more staff/shift to alleviate stress levels
