A typical day at work would include:
Preparing and cutting vegetables
Cutting and cooking gyro and chicken
Preforming cash transactions and providing great customer service
Setting up, cleaning, and taking down cooking tables
I learned the responsibilities of training and supervising staff. I learned many cutting techniques and many food + safety practices.
The people were the best part about working there. They made for a fun and friendly working atmosphere. However, every day were set times to which you would do certain jobs. (For example washing Romaine Lettuce was always at 11:00pm)
Overall. I'd rate Pita Factory a great learning experience and work environment.
