What is the work environment and culture like at Pit Stop Portable Toilet Services Ltd?
It honestly feels like one big family!
The owners really do care for their staff, same with management.
We have a social committe, once a month we do something fun (camping, axe throwing, bowling, etc) where everyone can really get to know eachother and you can build relationships with your co workers outside of work!
I would definitely recommend reviewing the website and reading through it to help you better understand who Pit Stop is and what we do. I would also be prepared to answer some situational questions. Think of situations, good and bad, that you have been in. How did you handle them? What was the outcome?
It is important in any job interview to prepare and practice.
How long does it take to get hired from start to finish at Pit Stop Portable Toilet Services Ltd? What are the steps along the way?
The on-boarding period really depends on the position you are hired for and the experience you bring with you. Typically, on-boarding lasts 1-2 weeks with unlimited support following. It is a combination of instruction, shadowing, and hands on practice. If you are an experienced driver then you may only require a week of training whereas a less experienced driver may require two weeks. Same goes for office staff. If you have experience working with the database we use, or in the waste industry, you may only require 1 week of training whereas someone without any experience or knowledge of the waste industry may take a bit longer to fully understand the industry, who we are and what we do.
Does Pit Stop Portable Toilet Services Ltd allow for flexible working hours? Or are the hours set?
They are set hours, but each day you are working at least 10 or more hours
