The work environment is fun! At Pethealth we have a fairly casual work environment and schedule a lot of fun events for our employees to take part in!

It would really depend on the position. While we do have some remote workers across North America, and some of our positions have the flexibility to work from home one to two times a week, our Contact Centre does require the team to work at our office (located at Dorval and the QEW in Oakville).

We don't euthanize animals. As a previous responder mentioned, we are in the companion animal welfare space by providing products and services to pet owners, shelters, and veterinary clinics.

It would really depend on your position within the organization. Some roles are remote, some have some flexibility to work remotely one or two times a week, and some do require you to be in the office.

That is a wonderful question! Our culture is something that we hold very near and dear at every level of the organization. In a word, I would say that we are FUN, but it goes beyond that. We are a team of people who are ALL interested in helping others lives - furry and otherwise! When you have such a strong common interest, it's bound to make for great teamwork. We are also a culture of accountability - we all own our roles within the organization, as well as the outcome of our projects, and the clients we represent. I hope that helps!

Listen to your employees! Clearly many are unhappy and you are losing dedicated, loyal individuals due to your lack of empathy. Stop playing favourites and reward senior agents who have made Pethealth their home for many years. There is no longer any incentive for them to stay at this company, and you'll be hard pressed to find any agent who isn't job searching for something better every day.

It will depend on the role, but will generally entail a pre-screening telephone interview with Talent Acquisition, one to three interviews with Managers and other Stakeholders, and a tour of our office! At the time of offer we would check references and complete a criminal background check.... and yes - I like to think we are very friendly!

At the time of offer, we will run a Criminal Background check through a third-party vendor. Depending on your role, you may also need to complete a credit check.
