Receiver (Former Employee) – Red Deer, AB – 22 August 2017
Peavey is a great job if your someone who wants to learn all kinds of new things. They are more than willing to teach if you are willing to learn. Pay increases as earned and good hours. management could use some serious work though.

You get to Peavey and you just work. lifitng 30 - 80 pounds of items a minute. What I learned is that you have to be faster than someone that works at a typical fast food restaurant while being as strong as the hulk (literally.) Management was okay, when an issue was brought forward the issue was immediately resolved. Co-workers are quite brutal unless you can make friends quickly, but even then you would have to get used to the harsh nature that everyone has gotten accustomed to.

My review of peavey is a little hindered as I was fired for having a work injury after working there for 2 and a half years. I thought they could have handled it better but the management team there is not very good at their jobs.
monday to friday, weekends off catered dinners on major holidays.
No other learning opportunities or title shifting.
Thank you for your comment, we're so happy you enjoy working at Peavey!
Job Work/Life Balance
Flexible work schedule.
Data Entry Clerk (Former Employee) – Red Deer, AB – 14 September 2012
Working at Peavey Industries was a great place for me to work. With the ability to work through my lunches, and leave early so I could take my son to hockey was perfect. My manager was awesome, she was very laid back and easy to talk to with any problems we might have. And what can I say about my co-workers except everyone helped each other out, and lent a hand when needed. Not to say that it was always perfect, you put 30 women together in an office, and there is bound to be mishaps. All in all though they were a fun bunch of ladies. The hardest part of my job was trying to get my speed up for data entry as I came from the warehouse with no experience. However it did not take long, and I was up with the others. The most enjoyable part of my job was when we were super busy, and there wasn't enough time for a full 15 minute break. The busier the better I always say.
good benifits, christmas pot luck, bbq's, staff shopping, flexible
