Peak has been such a lifesaver for me! The peak team are amazing as you are constantly learning new things and meeting new people and each staff member really leans on each other for support. Management is phenomenal as they show support and sincere care throughout your employment. Healthy and fun place to work and such beautiful clinics. Above and beyond culture and lots of recognition on personal life events, birthdays, birth, marriage, milestones etc. and helping you achieve more with your career goals. Fast paced clinic especially when working at the desk but the staff and patients make it all worth while as soon as you have settled in and got the hang of it. Overall, exceptional place to work, would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend working at Peak Health and Performance - management is there whenever you need to talk, co-workers are super friendly and easy to work with, and the job is straightforward and enjoyable. Being a patient experience manager is straightforward and I really enjoy it. There is a good balance between patient interaction and doing things behind the scenes, away from the desk. Management, on all levels, is always there when you have an issue, or need to talk - they are very approachable and understanding.

Work, Life, Community, Culture all in balance

Want a place where everyone knows your name? Peak is the place! From the employees to patients everyone wants to see growth and goals come to fruition. This may be learning a new skill, buying your first house or finding your passion in Spanish dancing. Peak is a team that will always pick you up and help guide you to the direction that you want to go. Name your goal and we will find ways to support it and get you there. There are so many employees that have been with this company since the beginning, it is no secret why when you spend anytime with this amazing group of like minded people. Everyone who walks through the door is probably someone you want to know!

Wonderful Work Environment and Culture

Patient Experience Manager (Current Employee) - Calgary, AB - 12 January 2021

An absolutely fantastic place to work. The management and owners make all staff feel valued and appreciated. The Peak Team has cultivated a work culture that allows for open sharing of ideas, support, and collaboration. There are opportunities for advancement and increasing hours in the reception roles, and there is so much room to learn and grow with the company. There are clear expectations and frequent opportunities to have meetings with the clinic director(s) which creates open lines of communication. I would highly recommend Peak Health as an employer.

Forever Job, amazing culture

I have worked at Peak since 2013 and can say it is the most professional, well run clinic I have ever seen. I have been able to be promoted from Clinician to Clinic Director and have been given opportunities to advance my career at every stage. The clinics policies, mission statement, organizational structure and career opportunities are clear and well communicated. As a clinician, there are many support systems in place to advance your technical skills and knowledge base. The front desk staff are amazing and streamline your caseload, stay on top of your MVA/WCB forms, do all direct billing and are always willing to help. The culture at the clinic is very healthy and it is a fun upbeat work environment. This is an amazing place to work and I look forward to finishing my career with Peak Health.

Amazing people to work with. Middle management was not great.

The culture at Peak is amazing, everyone is so friendly. You get the added benefit of free treatment. I found middle management to be lacking in experience with managing people and effective communication. This became the ultimate reasons for leaving. Upper management was awesome, they will listen to you and help you out. The only other aspect I didn't enjoy was they want you to "bleed green", there's nothing wrong with encouraging staff to be enthusiastic about the business, but they took it a little too far. There is no career advancement for front desk as they mainly employ part time.

You will be happy to hear that 5 out of the 7 PEMs are now full time employees, with 4 in advanced roles and another in line to assist the opening of our next location.
