Robotic work environment

The manager of AP didnt respect her staff. She didnt respect the efforts of correcting processes, coding, cost allocation or account clean ups. Nothing you did ever earned you a thank you or good job.

The management is friendly and tried their best but sometimes seem unorganized and chaotic. They do take very good care of vehicles and fix them regularly and quickly.

Terrible place to work

Terrible, hostile work environment. They will over work you, give nothing back, fire the good people and keep a horrible manager instead of letting him go to better the company. Everyone is only looking out for themselves. HR does nothing when things are brought to them and this is not an "inclusive" place to work. It is ran by people that lack skills of how to lead, only sees the company card benefits and getting bonuses from clients they are not suppose to take. 10/10 run away from this comany.

Growing Pains But Decent Overall

I found the work at Parkland to be okay. It gets pretty hectic more often than not. You'll find yourself taking on significantly more responsibility outside your role. Acquisitions are always a pain and leadership tends to be missing unless you work for one of the good ones. Pay was fine, and benefits were fine.

The company's processes were highly disorganized, which made it difficult to get anything done efficiently. It was frustrating to see how much time and effort was wasted.I also witnessed some seriously unethical behavior from the company towards its employees. It was disheartening to see how little regard Parkland had for the well-being of its workers. And when things did go wrong, the company seemed to think that throwing money at the problem would make it go away. The management at Parkland was inexperienced and ill-equipped to deal with the challenges of running a company. It was clear that they lacked the necessary skills and knowledge to make good decisions, which created a toxic work environment and high turnover rates.

Bullying is common

The management team is impossible to deal with. It’s there way or nothing even if it’s wrong and they don’t care about the consequences. When they are proven wrong they will never apologize for their mistakes.

In 40 years in the workforce, this is the most toxic company I have ever been involved with. Management will lie directly to your face. The company will make mistakes on your compensation and then you will have to fight to get back what they said they would pay you in the first place. Stress is off the scale, and they will micromanage you to death.

Lack of Management and resources

I worked their for 2 long years and had 5+ managers in that time. There is zero support for workers. Pay is low and work expectations are high. Cooperate management is grossly unaware regarding branch operations except when it comes to profit/loss; this is the only concern. Jobseekers beware.

Busy and lots of learning

Management and dispatch are clueless they have no idea what is going on or how to do there jobs.As a driver once your out in the field you are on your own dispatch never answers the phone and if they do most of time can't help you because they are clueless.Run as far away from this company as you can
