Great place to build your skills!
Sales Development Representative (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 23 February 2023
The work was very fast paced and competitive, but I was able to gain valuable skills, such as good communication, collaboration, and strong work ethic.

great place to work, flexible and fun!
Juniior Research Analyst (Current Employee) - Remote - 21 June 2021
Great place to work overall, No complaints. The interview process was really simple and the turn around for the interview only took a few days. The work culture at Parkbench is extremely inviting and collaborative. Even as an employee with no interaction with clients I feel my opinion is heard when collaborating with team members. While I do not feel there is much room for me to move up in the company right now, things could very well change!
Pros
flexible hours, great team to be a part of!
Cons
work is a bit repetitive

Great Coworkers, Fast Paced Environment, Stellar Product
Client Success Coach (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 3 April 2020
I've had the chance to meet some really wonderful people who I now consider close friends. Even remotely, there's lots of team collaboration and communication. Working for a small company allows you the opportunity to share ideas and feedback directly with the CEO and feel both heard and capable of making an impact to improve our product and service. I feel my role allows me to lean on my strengths and consistently strive to be of better service to our clients. As someone who truly values community and supporting small business, our product is very aligned with my personal values.
As a start up, things are constantly changing. It can be tough to keep up with ever changing roles, so don't work here if you don't consider yourself openminded, versatile and adaptable.

Development opptorunity was strong, but not within reason
Sales Development Manager (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 17 October 2019
The growth within the company was acceptable, but relocation was a necessity. I was unwilling to relocate, and due to the circumstances of the company, I could not develop either my managerial skills nor my teams' development.

Great place to work!
Account Executive (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 24 September 2019
Parkbench is a great company to work with. You have to be goal oriented and willing to do what it takes to achieve it. This is great, not just career wise but for personal growth. Management is always there for support. PB loves to work hard and play harder. If you are the type that wants to work until 5pm and run off to do what you need to do, this may not be for you. Enjoy!

Great place to grow
Acquisition Specialist & Account Executive (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 26 August 2019
Great company culture, people are very fun and supportive. NOT 9-5. Hours are 8-6, so if you are in it as a career, perfect fit, this company will push you to grow. If you are looking for a hard job but not committing your life, pick somewhere else first. 0 job security and weekly quota minimums for the first 3 months. If you don't hit, you're immediately fired.

Amazing team and fun environment
Senior Account Executive (Current Employee) - 100 University Ave, Toronto - 22 March 2019
Really great culture of success here, super fun people and cool workspace. There's a lot of potential to make money here but don't expect a cakewalk, those that work harder make more!
Being a start up, changes are fast-paced and they're always willing to try new ways of doing things. If you want to work with a team of killer sales people with a strong group mentality this is the place for you.
Pros
Free lunches, group events
Cons
Can be long hours

Great company to work - Be prepared to work hard
Account Executive (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 21 March 2019
If you are a person looking for a regular 9-5 this might not necessarily be the right fit.
If you are willing to put in the effort this company will reward you in kind.
Pros
Great culture, fun team

Best place I've ever worked.
Account Executive (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 21 March 2019
If you want to work at a place that builds every single piece of character in your repertoire, this is the place.
Firstly, the product is beyond anything I've ever experienced before. When it's utilized properly, this platform enables the people who use it to exponentially grow their business.
Secondly, the culture. From the founders, to the sales team, to the customer success team, everyone is aligned with one goal...explosive growth.
Thirdly, from a purely sales perspective, I've had 4 years of prior sales experience, and within 3-5 days here, I learned more about selling than ever before. You want to grow like crazy? This is the place for you.
Pros
Start up culture, the founders, the product, the tech we get to use, the support, friday lunches, growth potential, the feeling of actually helping someone with a product that works everytime is used.
Cons
Gatta be committed and do the hard work.

Great environment, and even better people
Senior Account Executive (Current Employee) - 100 University Ave. - 21 March 2019
I came to Parkbench with over 10 years in sales experience; I had taken time off sales for the past year due to emotional burnout from selling so many products over the year that simply don't work, have terrible support and customer service and ultimately the companies did not care about their employees.
When I started at Parkbench i'll admit I had my guard up, but after only a week with the people here I can honestly say I have never felt so good about working and selling for a company.
First off, the product actually works which is a HUGE bonus if you have ever sold in the marketing/advertising industry. Everyone knows marketing and advertising is a gamble for the person buying it; with Parkbench that is not the case.
The training, although brief, is effective and truly teaches you new things about sales, even if you have been in the industry for a long time like me.
There is constant fun in the office, great people to work with, lunch provided on Friday's, plenty of quarterly/annual bonuses and contests to stay motivated for.
There is a ton of room for advancement as the company is entering a massive growth phase. The only drawback some may see is that they expect production from their sales people quickly. If you have ever worked for a company with a startup culture you have likely been under the pressure to produce quickly before and this would not even phase you, but for anyone who is nervous about their sales ability(specifically their ability to close) this may not be the place for you.
If you love sales, work hard, and enjoy a real team atmosphere -
Pros
Effective training, Amazing people, Fun environment, Quarterly/Annual bonuses, Good Pay
Cons
Gotta work really really hard..if that is a con?

Great place to grow and learn!
Manager (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 16 November 2017
Great company to work for. Embraces innovation and provides mentorship for aspiring leaders! Company owners have established a great culture that is unconventional but effective. The most difficult part of the job is adapting to the pace of change as the company is still growing and always innovating.
Pros
free lunches, great co-workers and leaders who care
