Fun but long hours

Indeed featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
It’s good that there’s a work from home option but you have to give 30 hours availability which is harder for a student and lot of constant talking sometimes overwhelming. They watch your downtime closely.

Fun and fast-paced working environment

A typical day working at Panago would be busy and non stop driving until the end of the shift. When working I learned time management and how to provide proper customer service in a professional environment. Management can be good and bad depending on the location/owners. The hardest part of working at Panago was having the management communicate with their employees.

Not nice

Managers are very unprofessional and very rude as well as the staff everyone is very critical and no matter how hard you try nothing is good enough for them and they don’t hesitate to let you know if they don’t like you or if you aren't up to their standards.

Pros

Cheese bread

Cons

The people

Fast-paced and demanding

My time here was short (3 months) I quit because I wasn't given any hours. I would literally work a 2-hour shift which is the minimum and they didn't put any effort into training. I would ask for more hours and training but my words fell on deaf ears.

Flexible job

I called in sick way more times than were given per year and no one cared or didn't allow me to do so. You could also post you shift onto a website where you could trade it with others but there is no one ever using it.

Good part time job

Good part time job while in college, pay was ok tips as a driver helped. Can be very hectic and stressful during rush but overall good place to work. Wouldn’t want to have as a long term career

laid back, consistent work, free/cheap food.

Great place to work if you need a place to be flexible with your hours. Other than that it's pretty bad. Management just sits in the office and plays video games while you handle the prep and lunch rush.

Very upbeat and fun

It is a very fun place to work even doing the job from home. Very stress free. The staff is very helpful and wants everyone to do better. Positivity is their outlook

Fun workplace

Coworker was nice , but not enough working hours. Sometime will get free pizza. Got really busy on the weekend. Management was not bad as well. Fun to work I guess

Draining and not worth to mental health. All about politics.

Wage is not worth for the work and always our store was understaff. Owner wants to keep labor very low and no overtime opportunity. Short shifts of 4-5hrs for fulltime employees and maximum of 30hrs per week.

Pros

Nothing

Cons

Biased, Not trustworthy

Working hours is less

Management is biased and give hours to people they like not others. Employees always ask for extra hours. Sometime they just gave 3-4 hour shift. But some co workers were really nice.

Productive and fun

Good for temporary work especially for students. Its not for long term jobs unless you want to advance into being a supervisor or mangaer but overall its a good place to work at

Productive and fun environment

Nice Place to work. Good money. Free food. Free cookies and ice cream. Good place to work.Very easy work but a little fast paced. If you want to work that’s the place.

Pretty good job, can be a bit overwhelming at times.

The job was like any other call center job. You take customer orders and answer questions and handle complaints. Management is pretty good and they uave a ton of work events. Back to back calls can be draining as after you're finished a call, a new one comes in, then another one. Also you'll get in trouble if you don't meet KPIs which can be stressful. But there is a solid employee recognition program which is nice. Overall it was cool working for the company and learned new skills as well.

very casual and fun place to work. Training is next to nothing, but people I work with are awesome .

Drivers work afternoonsmanagement/employee moral is very low. Low starting salary for the job. No gas allowance . High wear and tear on personal vehicle No training , great tipsOverall a casual and fun place to work. Not stuck in an office - driving and doing deliveries then helping with dishes and folding boxes is pretty much the whole job

Pros

Great tips

Cons

No training, poor management

Easy place to work

Was a pretty chill place to work. Had to follow a script which was easy to remember. You get trained thoroughly. Allowed to leave early if it was getting very slow. Get to work on your own and chill.

Pros

Get to sit during the whole shift

Cons

Repetitive, gets boring sometimes

Great place to work for

I was a delivery driver for a few years. It was a great company to work for. They offered flexible hours and pay was great while out delivering pizzas.

Parksville

Owner doesn’t like to spend money.Manager is great. Flexible work hours. Discount or free food depending on shift. As a shift leader I make $16.50/hr + tips. (Roughly an extra $5-$10/hour) Mileage is paid $1.50/delivery. Work environment can be easy going at times and hectic at times. Be kind, come on time, be productive and a team player and you will do well.

Won't let you change your availability

Not a flexible company to work for, you get a sigh in between calls as they are endless during the hours they schedule you.The more mistakes you make the longer you been here the more angry they get with you. You have zero co-workers to talk to.Customers are flat out rude and will call you names and curse you out when you try to help or solve the problem. You get blamed for things out of your control that is management's problem or company policy and have to hear it from the customer. Biggest benefit is working from home and not having to commute by bus to the call center. Long shifts on Saturdays. 8 hours with calls back to back. Emotionally draining, not worth the minimum wage. Other jobs I've stood around doing nothing for hours at a time, this is not it, unless you give them very specific availability you will not be getting shifts when it's slow.
