OPERATOR 2, TEAM LEAD ON NIGHTSHIFT (Former Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 12 February 2018

Quality Control Inspector (Former Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 28 March 2017
I enjoyed my time working at Packers Plus. I found them to be a very accommodating company and I had a great experience working there. It was a good environment to work in and I looked forward to going to work.
Pressure Testing Technician (Former Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 14 February 2017
I was in the pressure testing department and found out that everyone in my section was making the same as the other people who didn't do anything just watch a machine work!! slave labour at its finest with packers!! worked with great people but the pay was way to low for the work you did!!
Physical Inventory Coordinator (Former Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 9 January 2017
This is a company that has experienced fast growth pains. They have recognized this and have been very proactive in developing plans and procedures to help create the team atmosphere. They encourage the employees to submit any ideas for operational excellence.
Shop Technician (Former Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 16 October 2016
A typical day at work involves morning meetings, safety checks, working with tools, testing for quality. Best when oil industry was at peak, with lots of work and overtime, difficult when things slowed down and economy began to collapse.
Field Specialist (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 10 November 2015
no security or employee loyalty, they try to compete with the oil market as a big player. But they are no match for the larger companies.
Stay away from them unless you have no other job offer and Do Not Expect any Employee recognition for hard work and loyalty. They are a Mom and Pop Operation and act like it and not boost on the Richness and Wealth of their company the 3 owners have.
Disgusting from an Employees point of view , as they were nothing but an employee at one time also!!!!!
too small of a company thinking they can compete with the big oilfield company, but are no match.
Office worker (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 22 June 2015
The pay is good, but nepotism, the lack of training and opportunities for advancement aren't. Managers don't seem all that clear on what they're doing or what's going on with their departments and don't really think about the implications poor decision-making or behaviors would have on their business or their staff. Based on my personal experience, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
Summer Job Student (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 5 February 2015
Learned the different completion techniques that Packers Plus has been developed and are currently implemented in many wells. Responsible of verifying Frack Summary reports. Job shadowing with the engineers within the sales team in order to learn and to understand the different duties that each of them carried every day (Torque and drag analysis, Pressure Drop Analysis, Non Conformance Report, Engineering Request, etc.).
