Great team

Supportive team, great professional development opportunities. The hiring process took longer than expected but happy with where I work. I feel very supported.

Custodian/Maintenance in Carp, ON
on 19 November 2022
Stressful work at a fast pace

It needs to have competitive wages with other school boards within its area. If your working evening shifts there should be a night shift Premium or something.

Office Assistant in Ottawa, ON
on 8 November 2022
Office staff need to be paid better

People are very respectful and open minded. The best part is seeing the children succeed and grow. It's always a pleasure to see them and assist to their needs. More EAs needed so teachers are no so overwhelmed. As for pay; I believe everyone gets paid fairly well except for Office Admin and Assistance. They are the glue that holds everything together and helps things to run smoothly.

Registered Early Childhood Educator in Ottawa, ON
on 25 October 2022

Pretty good job to get you started, however little room for advancement, pay is little and special needs high. Little to no support with your classroom.

Casual Custodian in Ottawa, ON
on 8 October 2022
It was ok but no room for advancement as a casual.

It can take years to get Full Time. No room to advance as a casual unless the supervisors really like you. Co workers are good to work with friendly work environment. Summer cleaning can be difficult.
