s the regulator of motor vehicle sales in Ontario, OMVIC’s mandate is to maintain a fair and informed marketplace by protecting the rights of consumers, enhancing industry professionalism and ensuring fair, honest and open competition for registered motor vehicle dealers. This is achieved by:
Registering all dealers and salespeople
Inspecting all Ontario dealers (new and used)
Providing free complaint concilliation to consumers
Delivering education/awareness programs
Investigating and prosecuting industry non-compliance and illegal sales (curbsiding)

Very hard to fit in

Job security is not there and the managers are part of clichés that are difficult to join; therefore, it makes the environment hard to tolerate some days.

You just sit around waiting for people to come in. Winter months are very dead. Not very much money to be earned. Not a job I would suggest anyone to work.

It was a great learning experience place to work at. I acquired extensive knowledge on purchasing of vehicles. I have managed to pass this knowledge to friends and family.
Overall it was a personal learning experience for me, you cannot give suggestions to supervisors as they will take this personally.
