Productive and fun place to have worked.
Co-coordinator Media & Government Relations (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON16 October 2017
A typical day was spent working with three different departments including Media, Government and External Relations. I learned a lot about how to work in a multi media environment as well as working with different levels and government. The management was great and the work culture was a positive one. Teams collaborated with each other and helped each other to succeed. The hardest part of the job was working for 24,000 medical doctors across Ontario. The most enjoyable part of the job was the social get togethers with the team and how everyone helped each other in a crisis.
Pros
Helping each other in a crisis. All hands on deck mentality.
Cons
Stressful sometimes especially during negotiations of physicians.

What I really enjoyed about working at OMA was the fact that they offered mandatory in house classes in Microsoft Office to keep everyone up-to-date.
