Bullying, poisonous peer competition, and blame culture are rampant here. And it all stems from one of the senior leaders. This department has undergone significant change in the past few years but never before have I seen a senior leader who seems to enjoy belittling, demeaning, actively intimidating, and disrespecting people to such an extent. In all seriousness if you value your mental health, I recommend you carefully consider a job opportunity here. People are constantly being fired from this department or leaving voluntarily because they can't stand the abuse anymore. The other senior leaders seem to have their heads in the sand or not care that this is going on.
One of the worst places I ever worked. Toxic work culture. Poor work-life balance, especially if you have a family. Review process is a nightmare. Designed for employees to fail. Good luck working here!

IT Operation team was a small part of the IT Department. It had been outsourced in 1988. Learned a lot on the Ontario Hosipital policies by then. Enjoyed supporting the annual largest Hospital convention event in North America
