For a temporary assignment, the number of task given were meaningful and educational. The HRBP were considerate and supportive making the work experience memorable for all the right reasons.

Productive and fun place to work
Love it here! Subject matters experts and other managers available to help and there is constant support for employees. It is also a remote job, policies, guidelines and work are easy to understand.

Great growing organization
Lots of change going on as they build and form this new organization, which is a combination of several previous provincial healthcare agencies. Change is opportunity for the agency and it’s employees though. As long as things keep heading in the right direction they have a great future ahead. The only downside is they do have a cost cutting mandate due to the provincial government that made the org. It somewhat handicaps the agency’s ability to do everything it should be, but there is still plenty of good going on. The digital group is large enough to be its own org and is doing some tremendous work. Vast majority of the workforce is vocal about the desire to keep a remote workforce post pandemic, so hopefully leadership takes note.Overall, very happy to be part of this org at the current time. Wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who wants no change and to coast at work. For anyone who’s motivated, problem solving, snd wants the opportunity to progress their career, you won’t find a better health or government org.

Advancement is reserved for a special few
Lots of favoritism. Classical government job - good pay, boredom, cliques. Smart people should avoid this place like the plague. You will not want to work here past your 6 month probationary period as projects seem to be monopolized by management as they don't really have any delegation skills.
