The job itself is very straightforward and easy to do but the days are so random it’s hard to schedule anything. Most likely will have to work every Saturday so only half a weekend. You won’t know when you’re working until late evening at best. Winter times are very slow may get one or two jobs a week Management is the achilles heel, they made the job unbearable most of the time with their ineptitude and lack of knowledge, they expect you to do the job even if it’s not possible. Be prepared to drive long hours to get from job to job. Co workers are good for the most part. No benefits or promotions, you will only be a duct cleaner Equipment is severely outdated and poorly kept, the vehicles are on their last legs will have to buy your own tools. In closing this job is not something to look at long term, maybe stay for a year or two to collect the cheque’s then look for something else

Pros

Job is easy and straightforward

Cons

Fluctuating hours, no benefits, terrible management, no promotions
