Boring, call center job
Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  St. Catharines, ON11 March 2019
You grow to a certain limit at this job and then you plateau, why? because they don't have a "budget"
The pay is slightly above minimum wage
The experience you gain at this job isn't transferable, your better off working somewhere else
carpets are dirty, washroom overflows and is nasty (the no scent rule makes it worse)
Management and some of the supervisors are really fake, what they don't realize is if management treats an employee wrongly (underpaying, demoting, talking behind their backs) they will surely do it to you as well!
No growth here, it's a dead-end job
Call center job where you cold call cold leads
I know a few people here that are successful with sales (they lead every year) and even they don't make much
Listen if you see long term employees done wrong (ex. the receptionist that was here for a long time), what makes you think it wouldn't happen to you? pay attention to these red flags

If your a high schooler who needs a summer job, this is the place for you!
If you have a degree, avoid this place
Pros
free food sometimes, meetings, co-workers, supervisers
Cons
management, pay, hours, growth

Worst place ever
Customer Service (Former Employee) –  St. Catharines, ON4 March 2019
The job was your basic call centre job. Lots of hang ups on outgoing sales calls. Good hours during the week but no job security as the place shut down. Supervisors did not care about you and often talked behind others backs. Managers were horrendous, unhelpful and rude. The managers are both sexist and racist and went against multiple labor laws and were some of the most unprofessional people you could work with. Terrible place with terrible people deserved to close. I DO NOT SUGGEST ANYONE WORK HERE AS A SALES AGENT IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME
Pros
Good hours, steady weekday work, free lunch sometimes
Cons
Terrible staff, rude managers, customers, call lists, job security, professionalness

Workforce Manager (Former Employee) –  St. Catharines, ON25 October 2018
Promise of advancement and when the rare chance to advance, they low ball you with pay and deny raises. Work you long hours for bare bones. No loyalty respected. Just use and abuse you.

Good for students
Sales Associate (Current Employee) –  St. Catharines, ON2 October 2018
Ideal place for a student to work because of the hours.
Great place to develop your sales skills. If you are able to develop your listening and communication skills, it will reflect in your sales.
There's opportunity to make a good commission, which will offset the minimum wage that you make.
Management has a good heart. They are willing to help you grow your sales skills. They are an understanding group of leaders that care about their sales team and take the time to celebrate birthdays and workplace achievements.
The one drawback to this place is the feeling of not having a balanced life because of the midday start and the late night finish. If you are not use to second shift, it can be tiring. Students will love this place because of the flexibility.
Pros
Paid breaks and commission possibilities
Cons
No day shift available - midday start leads to unbalanced life

Sales Agent (Current Employee) –  St. Catharines, ON26 September 2018
Working at one touch direct has been a great experience, the work environment and people make everyday exciting and a place you look forward to coming into. There is plenty of great incentives and uncapped commission as well making it not your typical call center. Management and supervisors are great as well. Would recommend to a friend.
Pros
Uncapped commision, Full time hours, Job Security and Benefits

Great place to work
Sales Associate (Current Employee) –  St. Catharines, ON24 September 2018
OneTouch Direct is a great place to achieve and enhance one's entrepreneurial skills. I came in with no sales experience and the training and guidance from management staff from day one have been remarkable. Supervisors are super friendly, co-workers are nice and respectful, hours and bonuses are guaranteed. Even though it is sometimes challenging with the customers, the job teaches you a lot of good communication habits, which I personally believe are critical for self-development and progress. The work schedule is a bit challenging and requires adjustments in my daily routines. In general, it is a good and fun place to work.
Pros
Great personalities, good commission and cash incentives, guaranteed hours
Cons
Late shifts

Great Place To Work
Customer Service Representative Supervisor (Current Employee) –  St. Catharines, ON24 September 2018
When you walk into the place there is always someone that will smile and say hello there is so many friendly people there, I have learned so much from this place from coming from a non sales environment I was top seller for months in a row and its a great feeling. The work culture there is great and everyone is welcoming. The hardest part of the job I would have to say is being rejected all the time from customers, but you push past that and when you get that sale its a great feeling and to have the whole team cheer you on is a great feeling. They have a lot of great fun days there with the social committee and I find the place to be laid back and very easy going.
Pros
Great incentives, Friendly people, Cash on hand for sales
Cons
Working every weekend sometimes you have no time for family time

Great place to work
Sales Supervisor (Current Employee) –  St. Catharines, ON24 September 2018
The job overall is pretty enjoyable. Good bonus structure guaranteed full-time hours. Managing a team or 8-14, coming up with coaching plans to increase sales per agent. Great room for growth with a very supportive management team. The only downfall is the later shift makes it hard to have work/ life balance and customers can sometimes be pretty harsh. To help with this you do get a decent amount of PTO.
Pros
Great commission and cash incentives, guaranteed hours
Cons
Late shifts

The worst
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  St. Catharines, ON19 September 2018
This is THE WORST place I have worked in my life. The staff is complete trash, the managers are all bickering about the workers and the workers are all bickering about each other. The work is awful. you sit all day getting hung up on and VERY FEW leads. The bonuses are okay I guess but it’s not easy to attain them.
Pros
Break every 2 hours
Cons
Long hours

Immaturity, Poor Hours, Scripted
Telemarketer (Former Employee) –  St. Catharines, ON22 January 2018
You had to follow a general script that you were rarely allowed to change up to sell AT&T to customers that had previously left them. The job wasn't easy, but it didn't help that there was often bickering and things happening throughout the office, you could not wear anything scented, so by the end of the day it smelt bad and you had a very confined workspace with uncomfortable chairs, so your back hurt by the end of the night
Pros
Close to Home
Cons
Hard to Sell, Confined Workspace, Poor Ergonomics

Sales Agent (Former Employee) –  St. Catharines, ON14 October 2017
The job is very repetitive - I have learned a lot specifically regarding customer service and sales and gained valuable work experience. The management was good, very friendly but at times hard to get a hold of.

Fun Workplace
Sales (Current Employee) –  St. Catharines, ON18 August 2017
People make the environment fun, however, the pay isn't as great as anyone would like it to be.
As an agent you can make very good money in commissions, however, when moving up into supervisors, management, trainers positions they really underpay.
