Their work culture is simply bullying and threatening. You either obey or prepare yourself getting fired. There are much better places to work in GTA. They give raise to service employees in dimes. If you value self respect above all, find a better place. When you look at the strength of new employees only supreme leader Kim Jong-un will be happy to see the growing numbers. Avoid it at all cost.

Office politics, bad vibe. If senior managers would only act on core values rather than just talk about them. It's amazing how people will respond when you treat them well. There are some nice people but they are silenced by cruel and self-serving managers that get promoted for being liked.
Pros
I'm working from home. If you're good at kissing up this is a great place to work
Cons
little trust. Many are afraid to speak up and those that have are labeled or fired.

Lots of really good employees wanting to do an honest days work but too many managers just play the game to get ahead and protect their job to look good regardless how they treat people. Favouritism for sure works here especially with some middle and senior manager and of course president for sure. People afraid to speak their opinion

Great company and learn lots and like my job duties but too bad some people just shouldn't be managers and if someone leaves they really don't care. Just a number. Rate of hiring/firing is very cyclical and ongoing. Not recommended at all for long term career here. Starting pay remains low for new technicians

My honest opinions today - you say anything or make suggestion your seen as a problem and you can be fired or treated badly - they make you feel like I should just shut up and do my job and he knows everything - culture is lowest I've seen it and people are so sad frustrated and angry -no respect from management just blaming - so tired about hearing about core values when actions are so totally opposite of words But I would one day recommend again if they can have the right people running the operation

I just do my job the best I can but if they fix the manager problems we can for sure can improve. If there is lots of constant empty positions it’s always easy to see why. I have learned a lot and improved my skills but I would not recommend my friend or my brother to join. Good employee should be protected and promoted not because if you’re liked.

job is good but not a good place to work and most new people don't stay long except long time employees that are paid more senior management is bad, don't care about employees. many afraid to speak. coworkers are good but mood is terrible because don't trust management. always looking for someone to blame but senior management look in the mirror and you will see the problem many people quitting, help wanted always

Service department technicians are literally considered as Chattels. Supervisors don't have a clue about how to support and develop junior technicians. Good people leave and most of them try to find another job. They have increased pay which is still below the market rate and yearly increment isn't even half a dollar. Some supervisors are partial and consider their own people for promotion irrespective of productivity and efficiency

It’s a ok place to start a job because they always need people and but not many likes it here and many continue to find a better job. Not many happy people. Other manager left after short time too Senior technicians stay because of better pay only but takes long to move up. I don’t feel anyone knows what to do to make better or keep people. I don’t think they treat people good. Maybe I don’t think we are good department.

Our manager is not to good but I think he's stressful because of president. I don't think there is good understanding of our service area. People keep changing. The company is good, my coworkers are also good but I don't think anyone in upper management cares about people to much. Must change top guy. Its been not so good since I arrived but I hopes it finds a new way to changes and improves. Changed pay but still low

I had little training but as usually figured things out myself. Was on contract for sick leave and they treated you like an outsider. Management in Finance was too busy socializing to work with you to make customer changes.

my work, entails traveling to hospitals and related job sites and resolving customer complaints or setup and train on new equipment. i worked out of my home and would schedual all activities with my job.

For a medical device company; which is governed by Health Canada regulations, this company is quite under-developed in terms of their compliance and understanding of Health Canada's guidelines and technical expertise. The majority of the managers (and employees) do not have any experience working within a regulated industry, and if they do, they are grossly negligent. This leads to numerous non-compliant decisions; leading to errors and the need for recall's, investigations, and rework. Due to the lack of developed quality systems and the lack of knowledgeable staff, corrective actions are often inadequate, and no effectiveness checks - so the deviations constantly recur. Aside from the lack of technical and Quality System experience, the atmosphere at work is relaxed & friendly. Sales and marketing staff are treated quite well. although they contribute to many non-compliant actions, and claim ignorance to the guidelines (which is unacceptable if you compare these sales & marketing staff to those in pharma or biotech - who are quite well versed in guidelines and compliance). These non-compliance issues cost a lot of time (and money) to rectify. Reimbursement is average. health plan and RRSP are sub par
