Great serving staff members, interesting management
Super fun place to work with all the great coworkers around you, however the refills of soup, salad and breadsticks can get stressful. With the constant refills, we only get 3 tables each which cuts into overall tip potential (which is annoying). 10% tip out (of how much you make in tips NOT sales) EACH to the busser and bartender… but none goes to the kitchen?!? For the amount of work you do, the hourly minimum wage isn’t really enough in my opinion.

I loved this job!
I worked here for a few months a few years ago as a server. I had to quit due to a recurring injury. I loved working here, I enjoyed my management team, and my co-workers were, for the most part, so team-oriented. Scheduling was flexible with minimum requirements that were completely fair. Amazing training!

Absolutely amazing, until it wasn’t.
I was happy for awhile as a server here. The staff is absolutely amazing, which is the only reason I’m still putting up with this job. Management however, is terrible. They are actually hazing out employees just to make room for new ones, and they have awful communication. I literally learned the definition of gaslighting while working here. However, it’s like I said, the co workers are amazing. The tipout is low. But it’s the hardest place to serve at with unlimited soup, salad, and bread. You only get a max of 3 tables at a time. The dress code is ridiculously strict as well. The servers are friendly and they aren’t cliquey, but managers have favourites, and you better hope you’re one of them.

Too Much Work For Low End Guests
Guests are rude and impatient, lethargic at the end of the meal rather than showing any enjoyment for the food.....Management doesn't actively manage floor staff so the place can be a mess with the same few people doing all the work to restock etc. On a weekly basis a table will full on stiff you will telling you how great the service is -- saving on a tip is obviously "part of the deal to save money", that attracts guests here in the first place.

Fast peace environment Hard work required.
Management like to schedule your shifts for 3 hrs. It just waste time to work there. The all you can eat salad soup and breadsticks makes my job so busy. You have to run so many times for all you can eat. It is so busy that's why you give you 3 tables at a time. Most customers order all you can eat in lunch time and make your life suck. It is a very stressful place to work.

Interview questions

Honestly not much. They asked my availability and if I had any experience, then hired me on the spot. I thought it was a bit suspicious but I was really happy. Now I understand that they will literally hire just about anyone, I know for a fact some of the servers don’t even have a liquor serving license.
