Relaxed

I have worked in education long enough to know that you should always be prepared for the room to not be set or prepared for classes to take place. Make sure you always back yourself up by being completely prepared to teach without any teaching devices or assistance in the rooms.

Nice place to work

I really enjoyed my time as a teaching assistant. It was a challenge dealing with multiple students but it taught me a lot. I only wish I could stay there longer.

Would not recommend

Management is not trained properly. The university has long history of racism and discrimination. You can google it. The university does not take complaints from administrative staff seriously and they protect long term employees who exhibit discriminatory behaviour.

Although rushed, it was a very chill job

the only time it was ever difficult was on the first day, and then things just got repetitive afterwards to the point where everything was easy to me.
