Lawn Care Technician in St. John's, NL

Awesome Job, But low pay
Overall I had a very positive experience with this company as a Lawn Technician. Management is very supportive and helpful as well as awesome coworkers. You get lots of exercise as you cover on average of 45 properties a day and you work independently and at your own pace with no micro management. The only con with this company is the low pay for the amount of labor required you only get paid minimum wage or very little above it and yes you get a production bonus but that varies month to month. I will also point out that the add on indeed falsely advertised the pay. On the add it said you will earn $700-$800 a week, which did not happen as I was only making minimum wage.

Pretty laid back place to work
It's a great job because your bosses trust you to get the job done, no one is staring over your shoulder the entire day. The work is very independent and you're on your own in the truck all day. If you're behind on your work one day someone will always come help you so everyone finishes around the same time each day. I really enjoyed how laid back the management was and how everyone helped each other out. It was also great that it is Monday-Friday starting early in the morning so we finished work early afternoon with lots of time left in the day to have a personal life. Downside would be that some days you can be driving from one end of the city to the other so half your day is just driving and every now and then your day can be 9+ hours long but it doesn't happen that often.

Good place to work, friendly staff and great management.
If you like working outside this could be the job for you. This job is fairly simple and independent, you service the lawns by yourself with your assigned van and equipment. If you need help or advice the supervisor is just a call away.

Great outdoor work while earning a competitive wage. Excellent team environment, staff appreciation days and management that cares.
Ability to work outside during the best months of the year, as part of team and/or individually. Inclusive environment, with incredible office staff and management. Production supervisor will always make time to help employees. Opportunity to grow and develop personal and profressional skills.
