I love working with a company that is to aligned with family values they go above and beyond for the clients even in situations where they are short staffed they do the best to make sure clients are number one priority and that’s what really matters

It is great pay is great and company is very supportive including supervisors but scheduling team is not that great overall good company to work with and pay is good

Two Faced Management

Absolute worst place to work. Trust me when I say, stay as far away from this company as you can. Can't go into details, but this company is plain money hungry and ridiculously inefficient. The management team badly needs to work on their communication skills, and pay their workers more than 20/hr with no benefits and no reimbursement for gas or criminal record checks. One day they like you and the next day they don't... all you have to do is call in sick one time for that switch up to happen. And interested clients, please stay away!!! I've seen way more than a few easily preventable medical errors from staff simply not reading the care plans.

What is the best part of working at the company?Carol Lange is one of the greatest leaders that I ever worked with. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?We must rely on people. People don't follow the policies and procedures correctly. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Warm, Friendly, Family, Caring. What is a typical day like for you at the company?I'm responsible for full-cycle recruitment of it. Interview, documents, and reference checks, follow up with all hires to make sure they're following the policies of Nurse Next Door.

Worst company to work with

This is one of the most unprofessional company you will ever work for in Calgary AB. The HR and management have no respect for their employees. Won’t listen to your side if you have your own personal situation going on. This company needs to Be better !

Best place I have ever worked!

Amazing management, wonderful clients. Incredibly understanding! Unfortunately a bit difficult to get hours but absolutely love it here. Really need to make a point in how wonderful management is here! Incredible!

Absolutely loved the job, hated management.

What is the best part of working at the company?Loved a couple of clients. Some very rude. Get in trouble for walking away from conflict. Get written up for doing what you do but it is never good enough. Reports not being done properly (the way we are taught in school). Get in trouble for calling 911 when a client fell. Most of the staff is good, interview is fairly easy.

I feel that the management needs some improvement but overall the job of a caregiver/psw is good. Really like the scheduling team and the workplace culture.

It’s okay

Well I did work for the one in brantford and had to have few days off due to being sick when I was to come back they told me not too wow at least try it out and see for your self


U can tell them what hours u can do

Poor management

Kelowna location is poorly managed. Benefits and raises were promised but never provided. Clients were neglected and miss treated by staff and never resolved. Anyone was hired with experience or none at all. Employees have been stalked by other employees. As an employee you were either working overtime with little to no days off or barely working. Safety protocols are never in place easily getting hurt and harassed by staff to come into work when injured or really sick, staff care more about the cash flow of clients then the well being or safety of clients or other staff.

Good company to work at. If you work hard you can get wherever you want to. Culture is hard to understand in the beginning, but once you get it, it's really good.

Office staff is very helpful and always willing to help with quick responses to any questions or issues. Clients are all very nice and welcoming when coming into their home for visits

Clients are great to work with and are always very nice. However management and scheduling is full of less than capable workers who need better training in their jobs.

Scheduling needs to stay consistent or more people will leave.My schedule is the same BUT If it’s changed I’ll leave.Clients don’t even deserve the yo- yo schedulers let alone the caregiver.Also -A NURSE better be on board to visit clients who need a nurse.

Loved working there . No mileage pay btwn clients. U only get max 3 hrs with one client . Pay is not that good. Loved my clients. Transportation for appointments

Toxic environment

The core values are not valued by franchise owners and staff treatment is extremely toxic. Clients needs are not met as needed and management doesn’t appreciate any input that doesn’t align with shining a positive public light on them.
