Company provides great incentives for northern workers. Culture is laid back and results driven. Training provided and paid for to excel in my career. Hardest part of the job would be constant shift in priorities. Most enjoyable part of the job is the people.

I worked in customer service and was not trained on any of the software applications used at the front desk. Given that Northwestel is a monopoly and they gouge customers exorbitant amounts of money for their mediocre service, one would think they'd have the resources to give their employees proper training.

Friendly work place
Very helpful managers, great place to work. They were always willing to show you what needed to be done and insured that you had the skill to complete all tasks assigned. I was only a short term contractor but would have loved to work there full time. Only downside was the cold of Whitehorse.
