Work directly on the floor to see what is really going on.
Demand employees not bully and belittle others...including residents. Promote a team environment.
The culture created by change of management in Fort St James area over the last 2 years has been very detrimental to the organization causing many good employees to seek other employment. Noone is listening to staff the disrespect has been through the roof integrating the clinic.
From what I have read; Looks like Dawson Creek and Fort St John need big changes in management and/or strategies. Don't think I would apply in those locations. Sounds like more stress than I already have!
I will motivate my colleagues and appreciate them. Also, i will encourage the employees and inspire a culture of self awareness and respect. Focus more on employee development and will also ask the employees to give ideas about what changes they would like and what problems they are facing and how i can improve that.
Be more accommodating and hospitable to the lower class workers and not be so petty and cheap about simple things such as desk fans or simple heaters.
