Our extended health plan covers a variety of expenses when incurred by you or your dependents as a result of the necessary treatment of an illness or injury. There is an annual deductible.
Dental
Our dental plan covers 100% of basic dental services and over 60% of major reconstruction services and orthodontic services.
Group life insurance
The Group Life benefit is paid to your beneficiary or estate in the event of your death from any source while employed with Northern Health.
Long term disability
The Long Term Disability benefit provides you with a monthly income if you are unable to work as a result of an accident or sickness after you complete your qualifying period.
Accidental death and dismemberment
The Accidental Death benefit is paid to your beneficiary or estate in the event of your death as a result of an accident. It is paid in addition to the Group Life benefit. The cost of the benefit is paid by Northern Health.
