Overly nursing focused
NHA overly emphasizes nursing staff to the extent nurses are placed in positions they are underqualified for and lack training in, such as mental health counseling positions or other positive better filled by social workers. Then there are paid more to do this work.

It’s okay
The pay is not enough for the amount of work you do! It’s union work so can’t do anything about the pay! But many areas to move around, good benefits, good vacation hours to start! Management needs to care about their people more! Also they only give jobs to people based on seniority rather than qualifications!

Great Co workers, unfortunately management is terrible.
Management does not care at all about the employees. Always short staffed and to cheap to pay overtime. You would be expected to do the work of two people because they wouldn't pay the overtime. Thus the hospital would not get a proper clean. So much for infection control. People would always call in sick because they were over worked and broken. The whole system was broken.
