Long hours but great members
Assistant Golf Professional (Former Employee) –  Sherwood Park, AB12 August 2015
Working as a golf pro can be rewarding but difficult. Hours are long, the course is open from dawn until dusk. Pay does not reflect the amount of work you put in daily. Typical day is answering many phone calls and ringing through guests.
Pros
Free golf
Cons
Long hours, mediorce pay

I enjoyed my time at Northern Bear. I worked as a grounds keeper, and found myself really enjoying the company of my co-workers. Overall, we kept the course looking good, and enjoyed ourselves.
Pros
Free golf at one of the nicest public courses in Alberta
