People and cultural friendly, community oriented-
Parent Community Developer (Current Employee) –  North Vancouver, BC14 August 2015
Working for North Shore Neighbourhood place has been a good place for me after taking a break for almost 5 year to raise my kids.
A typical day at work is a fun day where I get to interact with lots of people and be helpful to them.
I learnt about tolerance, multiculturalism, differences and acceptance.
My co-workes are friendly and kind to me, is good to work with them
The hardest part of my job is when I can't do things or use my ideas because we don't have enough money in our budget to run some of our programs or activities.
The most enjoyable part of my job is to help people and make them feel happy and integral part of the community.
Pros
flexible hours, friendly staff, great location
Cons
not much opportunity to grow in my career
