Productive and Good Place to work
Start my shift at 7 in the morning, there"s a time that my day are so busy but sometimes it depends on the need of the resident.I learn to deal the moods of my resident you have to know what they like and dont.My co worker are help full. The hardest part is if one of my resident are not feeling well or they are dying. The most enjoyable part is the job that i do everyday to help my resident because i love what im doing.

Fun workplace with the elderly
- Come at 9am in the morning, converse with the residence. Make sure they feel at home and at ease. Help out with morning exercises. Take them on strolls and converse with them. Do paper work and surveys with the residence. Supervise the residence when in field trips, and assist with daily routines.- I have learned to talk to other people without fear. Usually I am a shy person, however, I have gotten to experience being independent and on the job. Fearing the boss and the fear of making a mistake. I have learned to talk normally with energy and to handle the residence with care.- The management was all nice to me, it was a nice work experience for me. They went over the basic procedures and emergency advices.- My co-workers were also extremely great and careful with me. They instructed me in the daily routines with the residents.- The hardest part of the job was to have a strong mindset to understand the residents. It is quite sad to see the elderly in a residence home. It is also hard when they start to argue or get upset; however, I manage to make them to stay calm. I have developed fast problem-solving skills- The most enjoyable about the job was to have fun with the residents, to color and converse about the old times. The themed months were a lot of fun, such as: Indian week, Filipino week and so on. I loved it because it made me realize how tiring it is to be working and how to work harder to impress your boss or supervisor.
