A typical day at work for an airside driver. Arrive at work sing-in you are then given your "run" or schedule of flights for your shift in which you must load all your trollies and cans. Once loaded in your truck you then make your way airside. Once airside you cater (deliver) your items to each flight. Flights are delayed and fins(tail#) are swapped leaving you shuffling around from gate to gate aircraft to aircraft. although the company is very lienient they dont grasp the concept of down-tme at the airport. In which they contact you over the radio multiple times and hr to make sure they know where you are. Once all your work and flights are done you are to return to the unit where you have to offload your trollies and cans yourself. Management is very one side although i know a few of them are good the others pick and choose who they protect and allow to do certain things. No appreciation from management for completing your work and doing it in the best possible way.
Pros
Free lunch every day
Cons
no appreciation from management when deserved

Started working here thinking I would be a DZ delivery driver, as explained by the interviewer... but ended up making ice, loading and offloading 30 trolleys on my own without support, catering flights with so little time and forced to work long hours. Management? There is no management, this place is a sht show.
Pros
Free lunches

The staff, managers and supervisors are great. All the employees are helpful to one another. If you need any help everyone is happy to give you a hand.
