Development Engineer in Arthur, ON

Good environment to work there
The organization at Musashi was excellent and the environment a good place to work. I learned the japanese culture and tried to improve it. The hardest part of my job was the technical communication with Japanese technical personnel.

Typical labour role, underpaid and over exerted
Machinists are paid the same rate you make at Amazon for packing boxes (to start at least). Tool changes, offsets, ongoing machine issues. Poor team dynamics. Great benefits. Try to incentivize with community feel, but workers are just made complacent with less than competitive wages and poor hours.

Usual factory work
Great pay and benefits. Working conditions really are dependent on what shift you are on and which manager you get. Upper management clueless and they cycle through Plant Managers on around a 2 year cycle, leading to constant changes to the way things are done whether or not it makes sense to change it. Bigger push into automation to have less workers.
Production Operator in Arthur, ON

Do not join them!!!!
Very unprofessional place. They will help you in interview because operator retention rate is very low. They will put you on machines without any training and will expect from you high production targets.

Toxic and abusive workplace and environment
People there are toxic like the environment of work, too much gosibs, management encourage employees to spy on each other and report it (snitchers and eyes). attitude is there everywhere and with everyone. you're not gonna succeed in this place unless you know someone from the management. it is not about what do you do or how do you do your job even if you're a genious, but it is about who you know. you can feel what i wanna say when you are working in the place for 3+ years and a new employee just joined the company and you're training him of how to do the job, and then after 3 monthes, he becomes your supervisor !!!!!! just because he is a relative to one of the managers. Safety is just a slogan, they repeat this word in every and each meeting or gathering, but it is only a slogan, they dont move to to check safety only when someone is badly injured. Real toxic and abusive place, if you wanna suceed and grow with your company, if you believe in your skills, and experience, if you respect yourself DO NOT JOIN THIS ABUSIVE COMPANY.
