Municipality of Chatham-Kent
Municipality of Chatham-Kent Employee Review
Good opportunity for growth
Manager, Long Term Care (Former Employee) - Chatham-Kent, ON - 27 February 2022
The division I worked in was in a field that has struggled with adequate ministry funding, staffing and at times, challenging ministry regulations. Salary and benefits were good, especially for the area, but the high demands of the LTC field sometimes detracted from that. I was fortunate to have many opportunities over the years with CK to expand my knowledge and spread my wings, taking on new projects and gaining new experiences. Ultimately my career has been able to take a turn down a different path to the HR field as a result, which I am very grateful for. My time with CK, although very stressful and challenging at times, was well worth it.

General Labourer (Former Employee) - Chatham-Kent, ON - 30 April 2020
Fair work environment with a good team of coworkers and caring responsible supervisors. Variety of tasks to be done each day, with the most difficult tasks being evenly divided amongst the team not just placed on the lowest seniority workers.
