Busy and challenging, good people
I've had a positive experience working for MRC, was sad to have branch closed. Could have happily worked another 15-20yrs until retirement. Enjoyed the variety of tasks I was doing.

Internal Conflicts - Constant Layoffs - 0 Job Security or Advancement
Expects the same effort and results you would give a commission job but Bonuses and Commissions were non-existent unless you were c-suite and your salary will be average for the role at best.Every former peer is now happier than they were when they worked for MRC.Expect to be constantly fighting internally more than you are trying to worry about customers and suppliers.

Great culture and room for advancement.

Poor experience
Lack of communication with new hires. No recommendations good or bad. Training on-line is good, in-person is not good at all. You may be the fall person for something that was out of your control with a very poor decision at the corporate level. Manager is very unrealistic and forgets what it was like to start out as a new employee. He expects everyone to have his knowledge, experience and he has...
