If you love to learn this is the place for you. There is never a time or day where you are not learning with this company whether it be oil changes or getting better with your sales they treat you fair and they are always learning with you.

Not the best place to work
Upper Technician (Former Employee) –  Lethbridge, AB28 January 2019
Management was always pushing you to sell extra things for vehicles that weren’t always needed. If you dont sell enough extra things you can potentially loose your job. Management is not great.
Pros
Easy job (mostly)
Cons
Promotions really aren’t a thing.

Upper Technician (Former Employee) –  toronto canada27 April 2017
Job had great co-workers and everyone was always helpful Got to work on different cars so it kept the job interesting. The manager was extreamly helpful. The customers were great and always a pleasure to see. Having regulars was great aswell. Working on expensive cars was cool and sometimes you got some "famous" people who would roll through aswell. You would get the odd tips here and there whi was nice. I once got alcohol, beer brochures, money and amazing advice.

Making calls to our Lower Technicians do complete a certain job, you get the training you need, the management is great, co-workers are great and are always there to help you, nothing at the job is hard and the most enjoyable part of the job is communicating with the customers.

Fun workplace!
Upper Technician (Former Employee) –  Calgary, AB20 March 2016
Great workplace and people! Mr. Lube unfortunately does not offer apprenticeship programs. I learned a great deal of automotive maintenance information and was introduced to the fast paced garage atmosphere.

You're always pushed to sell useless car items such as air filters or engine flushes and coolant flush. If you don't sell these items your hours will be cut down.
Always under staffed on weekends and under paid. I would recommenced this job for a student or as a part time gig.
Pros
The workers
Cons
Management, under paid

Mr lube Review
Upper Technician (Current Employee) –  Toronto, ON9 March 2016
Mr lube is a lovely place to work at, you work on cars the customers are always happy and talkative and almost never do you have a problems with anyone. A typical day at Mr lube would be cars coming in to get an oil change and while they get an oil change the upper technician (such as myself) checks the cabin air filters, air filters, check transmission fluids, and basic check ups on the car and recommend to the customer and whether they want to change it or not you can either do the service or put it in the recommendations for them for the next time they come in.
Pros
Excellent crew to work with and free pizza every meeting
Cons
only get two shifts a week

Amazing workplace with great bosses
Upper Technician (Former Employee) –  1191 Weber Street East, Kitchener ON13 July 2015
Working here was amazing. The other technicians were great and fun to work with, and were always ready to teach you new things. The hardest part of the job was having to service the customers vehicle for the first time, when you didn't know exactly what to do. The most enjoyable part was getting to meet new people.
Pros
great hours, awesome supervisor/boss, amazing co-workers
Cons
none

Lots of drama and unpleasant employees who tried to make everything a competition ...

Would greet customers with menu and newspaper and tell them waiting time
