Really supportive work place.
It was hard for me to leave the job, because the people were so nice and supportive and understanding. As long as you know what you are doing. Have a positive attitude, you are golden.

It feels often more like a high school
Working at Moxie’s was definitely an interesting experience for me. It felt like high school in a lot with the gossip. The food was good, the tips were okay. FOH management was okay but the servers could be standoffish at times. BOH Management on the other hand was poorly organized, they didn’t schedule the labour properly many times. Then would complain about the labour costs. People would constantly gossip about each other and it would make you feel unwanted in the kitchen when you heard it. All in all, I regretted this job after barely getting hours. It did seem promising at first. I have since found other employment. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Only management and servers get treated well.

Shell of a real restaurant
Lots of cliques and favoritism played in the workplace. They bounce you around from location to location without any or very little notice if you don't fit for any reason. Be careful when taking time off too. Very little empathy coupled with retaliation in some cases. Regionals are seemingly blind/don't care to the laziness of most of their executive chefs and general managers, as long as the numbers are good. Basically making work horses and scapegoats out of the employees with some ethic. I don't think I ever worked under 10 hours a day, not a lick of overtime, and still too much to do.

Terrible Place
Throughout my time working at Moxies grill and bar Kelowna, it was an abomination. Management was terrible, not caring about their staff, only having favorites. They constantly over-hired new staff, forcing old ones to quit due to not having enough shifts/pay. Getting fired normal, one day you would meet someone new, the next week they would be gone. I would come to work ready for a full shift only to be cut an hour in due to a mistake that was made by the kitchen but I was blamed for. Additionally, management turned over 3 to 4 times, each time having to build a relationship with someone new until finally we got our official GM (still current) who was the absolute worst of the bunch. Do yourself a favor, do not work for this company. I am surprised they are still even open considering the mediocre food and outrageous prices. If could give this place a zero star option, I would.

Great work environment
The pay sucks otherwise it's a great company to work for hence why I am still working for them. The hours fluctuate frequently but understandable considering everything is still opening up from the covid restrictions
