Do yourself a favour stay far far away from the private or corporate owned fitness industry period ( AKA its a racket not an industry)You will have poor pay constant bulling no stability and definitely not a career and be poor and emotional and physically drained . From what I have seen the fitness industry attracts very poor quality people for management and leadership roles that are very erratic and narcissistic self serving and deceitful . If you are still determined to get in to the fitness business go to a government affiliated ones universities, hospitals, schools, colleges that have benefits ,workman’s comp ,fair treatment of staff

The best way to get hired in a maintenance tech job is to have a truck the managers will love it and make you way ahead of a candidate who drives a car . You will likely get questioned if you have insurance to cover commercial use of your truck so if you get in an accident the company won’t be liable

Athletic for the members ,pathetic for the staff. Upper management are convinced that only they are superior and that all staff needs spying on and being kept down they are also very jealous and love to embarrass and find fault with staff talk and laugh behind their backs and in many cases un nerve them makes them feel superior but actually makes them look very insecure and schopathic. They would rather fail their way than succeeded your way ! Stay away you will only get damaged waste time and money .

This company could have had many more members and better, retention at all the locations if they treated their staff kindly and with sincere not phoney respect and using dirt tricks, bulling, rumour starting, promoting dubious individual to positions where they exercise selective control on staff for their own personal gains .Member see and hear how the staff are treated and most don’t like it ,they not stupid many have assisted staff get good jobs at the company’s they work at .Its very unfortunate that this company has this business model and blows away good staff and is constantly hiring and firing and blaming the high turnover as demographics

This company claims its demographics and proximity to university for it huge staff turnover . The real reason for the turn over is very poor rude uneducated management who make life difficult and exploit you in many ways and bullies and belittles staff for the slightest reason depending on their mood .Pay for front desk staff is around minimum and yes paid bonus pizza once in a while . A recient example of rude treatment was one of our co worker had a head office national manager snap his fingers at them to do a task ,not cool, very rude

Came on time but I was kept waiting about 45 min it was like the managers forgot the interview which was a huge red flag. The interview was chaotic but I answered all the questions until they asked what kind of car or truck did I drive and did you maintain insurance on it and was it commercial insurance . I told the interviewer and another manager my vehicle was a gmc pick up, the interviewer smiled and said they would contact me they did and offered me the maintenance technicians position . After working there a short while they constantly had me move equipment in my truck pick up supplies taxi staff move old weights and heavy objects to clubs sometimes long distances between clubs I got no compensation so I left the truck at home and drove a small car till I got a better job . I don’t recommend this place
