Horrible and Unprofessional
Administrative Assistant/Receptionist (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON25 January 2018
Worked at head office, it was extremely verbally abusive & unprofessional. Agents don't realize how much money they take from them. Management is rude and miserable. I have never worked in a place where management is always swearing. Management will put you on the spot and embarrass you in front of everyone. There are confidential documents just laying on desks.
Pros
Free coffee
Cons
Verbal abuse, unprofessional, horrible compensation and benefits

The interviewer was extremely rude and I was surprised that such a big company doesn't have an HR. The email I had received was extremely rude and unprofessional.

Like all mortgage brokerages, they talk a big game to get you in. Pending the team or franchise you join, you 'may' get support. The BOSS system they brag about is just okay, nothing special and not user friendly. They charge you for everything, monthly use for their system, charge more for credit bureaus than most brokerages, etc. There is no way to not pay for their system, it is mandatory even if you do not use it or need it.
Pros
self-employed, no micro-managing
Cons
24/7 availability, pay for everything.

Independent Mortgage Consultant, Team Leader (Current Employee) –  Ajax, ON19 July 2015
Would not necessarily recommend Mortgage Alliance to anyone. Poor support from head office.
You are 100% independent and need to avail yourself for clients 14 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Mortgage Agent (Current Employee) –  Ottawa, ON9 June 2015
You get what you put into it it. Good splits.
Their internal system is horrible (Boss). It looks like one guy made it and slowly updates it, a little bit like the rest of their technology. They should just hire a tech company to do it.

They do have access to a couple special lenders.

They are also constantly trying to sell you pens, folders and other various upgrades to their services.
Pros
Good products
Cons
constantly trying to sell you extra product
