Stressful, unrewarding, chaos
It is a stressful job that in unrewarding. You do way to much work for what you get paid. It takes upo your personal life and the pay is done by commission. You make no money for the effort you put in.

Seemed like a good job at the time
I was getting paid $14 to be the only non-commissioned manager in the store, it involved alot of evening and weekend work.

The big perk salary wise was the store bonuses if the retail hit either is good or excellent budget for the month. The operations manager (now tuxedo manager) was responsible for the rental part of the store, Managers put emphasis on the retail over rental, at all levels so you were constantly being pulled away from the job you are hired to do and what the other Manager's want you to do to assist the retail side.

This is not a unique experience, I spoke with other Operations managers from Nanaimo to Quebec who all said exactly the same thing.
Pros
You get to say you were a manager
Cons
inadequate pay, thankless job, and your manager will not give you the time to do it.

O k job if your a student not someone who wants to work hard. And make money a stay as a Career because the sky is NOT the limit!! with Moores
the problem with Moores you need to always give them what they want! But then when you want more money they will give you 15 cents! they are soooo cheap and your just a number to them.. alot of great workers leave every year! After being their for so long thinking they will advance but NO! Plus the job get's dual after awhile always the sammme thing just different day! plus everyone complains they make NO MONEY but work their butts off 6 days a week
Pros
fun work place but for students
Cons
poor management
