Machinist (Current Employee) – Antioch, TN – 30 May 2019
Not a terrible place to work, the biggest problem that reappears again and again is the lack of communication between sales, engineering and the shop floor. 9 hour shift with only a 30 minute unpaid lunch and no breaks. Expected to stand all day and supply most of your own tools. Depending on your position Saturdays may be expected
Clean environment, Climate controlled, good healthcare
Short lunch brake, 9 hour shift, no sitting, bring your own tools
Machinist (Current Employee) – Antioch, TN – 19 August 2019
They will hire anyone with no experience and that’s a blessing and a curse. Everyone there is considered a machinist from day one even if they are a simple machine operator. Qualifications for certain traits don’t matter. You hardly are asked to move from your originally hired machine. The amount of years you have worked there doesn’t guarantee you stay at the job. Definitely not a place to stay for a career.
Not good place to work , Learned a lot with CNC machines up set and operated, Not good management, Doesn’t have workplace culture, Absolute the hardest part of the job, There was not enjoyable part of the job
