4th Year Electrical Apprentice (Former Employee) – Red Deer, AB – 17 February 2018
This company I worked for 4 months, some of the people are nice (3 at the time) the rest were hotheaded or impatient for learners coming out of a different environment. Jobs were rushed at the ones I was at because of poor crew management and people were overworked and when days off came you had to head out 2-3 days earlier on your days off because of the push and the deadline. Good luck if you're trying to apply and when December comes and you're new, you'll be the one going home without a job the next year!

Want to deal with a place where you are replaceable, and they let you know it? Work here! Want a job with zero job security? Work here! Want to work at a place with high turnover in apprentices, journeyman, and supervisors? Guess what ...work here!
Apprentice Electrician (Former Employee) – Red Deer, AB – 18 January 2017
The pay is great but there are sudden layoffs even if they give you a letter of employment and there is a quite a bit of miscommunication between managers and other employees in the company. As well you might be out of province for 3 weeks at a time and only be back for 3-5 days. Some of the employees are great and the managers do as much as they can to be flexible with your schedule and they are friendly but there are ALOT of hardass attitudes and foremen and the owners are very cutthroat.
great pay, benefits, paid travel time and loa
no overtime, overworked employees, miscommunication
