Maintenance Coordinator in London, ON
No direction from mgt whatsoever
Ok place to work, no organization in management whatsoever. Fellow employees are a great group to work with, just leadership isn’t at a standard that can guide employees properly

Driver / loader in Ottawa, ON
Team oriented, fast paced
Good company, great pay for what it is. The weather is your enemy and the length of your day revolves around your co-workers and available trucks. If you have good beats and a good partner its a rewarding job . If you don't you'll hate every hour of every day there .
Administrative Assistant/Receptionist in Moncton, NB
very difficult to work there as the Ops manager has severe anxiety issues and pours them onto the Office Administrator. Even though this is just garbage, this job is extremely high stress. I developed an ulcer due to this job.The management doesn't support the office staff in Moncton. You are always working alone. there is some support from Dartmouth office but that, IS IT.
Maintenance / Inventory Coordinator in Brampton, ON
Maintenance Coordinator ( Current employee )
The Miller Group takes great pride ensuring all trucks are properly they believe in Safety when comes to the fleet they spare no expense ensuring the everything is maintained and documented incase the Ministry of Transportation does random audits. If your certified mechanic or perhaps 3rd or 4th year apprentice you'll be treated with respect all comes down to the division Miller will provide most commonly used specialty tools ensuring the jobs done right the first time.As the maintenance coordinator your nothing more than someone's personal receptionist your basically collecting DVIR's creating work ordering parts inventory is properly maintained and filing everything towards shift. Personally found some managers in Miller highly egotistical talking down about someone in general as manager that's not proper professionalism. Once again depending on the division operations dictates what happens mostly in this environment so you can feel the tension between operations and maintenance most times both departments don't work towards common goal. My advice to future prospective employees interested in venturing into the trucking industry this would make great stepping stone nothing more good luck to those applying to positions with Miller Waste.
