Good company culture
Everyone in the company including coordinators, manager and co-workers are very friendly and respectful. The job itself is easy, they give you freedom and opportunities to create a friendly environment for the individuals. The manager always check in with you to see if you are doing okay with your jobs. Co-workers always shares information and things they experience during the job. The best of all they are not micro-managing you.

Stressful and Unsupportive Work Environment
It’s a for profit company, Dollars before people! Highly Toxic Work Environment. High staff turnover ratio due to under qualified managers thrown to work. Expectations are astronomically high and zero support provided by manager

Poor Management, don't work here!
This organization does not care about the safety of its staff. I am a former staff and had to work by myself multiple times even though it is a requirement to have 2 staff at all times for the safety of staff. There were many issues and some injuries that happened to staff which some could have been prevented by better management. For example, a staff expressed to management that they didn't feel safe in a certain situation and they did nothing about it or did nothing to change it. Staff are burnt out and their opinion/feedback is not heard by management even though they are the ones interacting with the youth most of the time. The staff turnover rate is SO high because staff don't feel heard or supported. Would not recommend working here. The only positive is the training is pretty good and the colleagues are super nice and fun to work with!

Rewarding Job and Passionate Employees
This is my first job in a residential program and my team has been very supportive in directing me and answering all my questions. Management let me know that their "Stepping up" program was revamped to "Stepping up and Kudos" which I thought was a great way to appreciate employees for the hard work that they do. My manager is always at the program or is one phone call away. Everyone is very passionate about the work they do.

I have been working with this agency since January 2019. The house manager is working hard to cultivate a positive work environment, from thank you cards, team recognition, and company gift cards for stepping up. The manager writes encouraging notes to staff and is very funny. I also love working with a team of kind co-workers who care about each other and are dedicated to accomplish daily tasks. I really enjoy the people I work with.
