Poor working environment
Great list of products however the overall working environment is poor. Working space is not clean, flies all over the place garbage cleaner come once a week, therefore, garbage bins produce little flies that are everywhere in the office. The kitchen is dirty and not organized. Board room is the worst that I have ever seen, seeing this board room does not make the person believe that the company sells home and office furniture. Same with all the equipment in the office. Work life balance is not the best, employees are forced to work 8.5 hours a day with 1 hour lunch in one block with no breaks. shift start from 10:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m leaving no possibility to do other things in the day. The alternative shift that starts in October, is from 9:00 a.m to 6:00 a.m, still very bad. Authoritarian management style where the boss has the last word to say. No activities and no fun at work. Employees are poorly paid, however, the expectations are to do many other tasks out of the core requirement of each position. Like to fix your own computer if it breaks. Training is poor and many times is not available, employee frequently has to find his or her own training sources, like looking online for videos and tutorials to learn. The light spots are a nice showroom,a big warehouse though, and easy access to transit system. Overall, not the best place to work for long term, but a good starting point for new grads or those who are seeking internships to gain work experience. For experienced people, it is not the right place work in.
